Planning a Fall Vegetable Garden

2 people working in a garden

Florida’s cooler fall and winter weather is the perfect time to start a garden, or give your existing garden a fresh start after a long, hot summer! A vegetable garden can be productive, rewarding, and fun, but without the right plan and well-suited plants, it can also feel overwhelming or discouraging.

In this workshop, we will set goals for our fall gardens and create a simple garden plan. We’ll explore how to choose plants that are well suited to Florida’s growing conditions and share practical resources to help you get started and stay on track.

Take the next step toward bringing your garden to life: We’ll have our locally adapted seeds available to purchase. We’ll have resources and guidance for both beginner and intermediate gardeners.

Taught by Julie Naim with Florida Master Gardeners.

Cost: This is a free event, with RSVP required to attend. Donations are always appreciated to support our programs.
