Join us on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Bella Terra Hills Farm in Alachua, Florida, for our Botanical Hues & Garden Brews workshop. Learn how to make natural pigments from plants growing all around us: We’ll provide everything you need to make natural paints. Then, you’ll get to create a beautiful piece of art while sipping on seasonal herbal mocktails.
Come for a slow, creative morning outdoors—painting, sipping, and enjoying the land. No previous artistic experience is required to thoroughly enjoy this workshop!
Tickets - $55. Includes a full instructional class on how to create plant pigments with natural materials/botanicals, time to create your own art with the paints, botanical mocktails served by the Working Food staff, and a brief farm tour.
Every ticket is a direct donation, helping Working Food provide skills and resources, growing gardens that nourish people, preserve seeds, and build community.

The morning will start with a tour of the farm led by the owners, a space where you can “slow down, reconnect with nature, create meaningful memories, and experience a sense of peace that is becoming increasingly rare.”
Then, we’ll settle into a hands-on introduction to botanical and Earth-based pigments. You’ll have plenty of time to paint while you sip seasonal herbal mocktails and take in the views of Bella Terra Hills Farm. A small family bake sale will also be available if you’d like a treat.
