Process of Reflection
Behind every seed shared or class taught is a bigger question: Is this making a difference?
Because the challenges facing our local food system are complex, we stay adaptive, collaborative, and rooted in care. Our process of internal reflection on program impact is like looking back on a garden journal at the end of each season. By seeing what flourished and what struggled, we plan changes and maintain effort on what makes the most impact.
We take time each year to set goals, and check in monthly on our progress. We debrief after trying something new to decide as a team what we’d like to change next time. And every season we meet with each of our community partners to identify successes and challenges, and we adjust our goals accordingly.
We care about what our community needs from us, and are listening to your feedback. Do you have input on our work and impact? We welcome message to info@workingfood.org.
